Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aurora Guitar Tuner application (“the App”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and any applicable app store terms.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by applicable law.
• Use the App in any way that is unlawful, or that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with any other party’s use of it.

3. Microphone Access

The App requires access to your device’s microphone in order to detect pitch and tune your instrument. Audio is processed locally on your device and is not recorded or transmitted. For details, see our Privacy Policy. You may revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings, though doing so will prevent the tuner from functioning.

4. Accuracy & Intended Use

Aurora Guitar Tuner is provided as a tool to assist with tuning musical instruments. While we strive for accuracy, tuning results may be affected by background noise, microphone quality, and environmental conditions. The App is intended for general musical use and is not warranted for professional calibration or scientific measurement purposes.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, graphics, and underlying software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.

8. Changes to the App and Terms

We may modify, update, or discontinue the App or these Terms at any time. When we change these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in your place of residence where required by law.
